Safety on the electrical work.
Good electrical contractors take safety and safe environment for all workers very seriously, workers and contractors should work on tandem to prevent accidents and to be aware of the two types of unsafe behavior: Deliberate and inadvertent.
Not hearing or understanding instructions may be an inadvertently unsafe act, often unsafe behavior of inattention occurs when the mind is somewhere else like at the end of the day or the end of the week.
Lack of understanding and inattention are the real culprits of of inadvertently unsafe behavior, the solution is developing procedures to refocus the mind on the job and to ensure proper, accurate and complete communication about any safety-related issues that might affect safety.
Deliberately unsafe behavior often occurs when the consequences might not been properly assed proper instructions and training must be provided to prevent such occurrences deliberate unsafe behavior must not be tolerated; Suspension or dismissal must be enforced if deliberate unsafe behavior continues.
Rules and regulations, procedures and processes should not cause individuals to relax their personal responsibility for safety.
Construction environments are full of possible dangerous areas debris, loose materials on the floor, falling objects, moving ladders, dust, to name a few contractors must enforce safety measures at all times, workers should look for their own safety, use all required equipment like safety boots and hardhats, gloves and proper tools and techniques to have a safe work place and avoid or reduce any possibility of job related accidents.
